From the North
Follow the A1 south to junction 46.
Exit the A1 by following the signs for Wetherby Racecourse and the B1224 to York.
After leaving the A1 take your second exit from the roundabout (the first is into the service station) and follow the new bypass for half a mile. Approaching the next roundabout, at the entrance to the racecourse, turn left towards York.
PENNYS are situated on the right hand side after 1/2 a mile.
From the South
Follow the A1 north to junction 46.
Exit the A1 by following the signs for Wetherby Racecourse and the B1224 to York.
After leaving the A1 take your four exit from the roundabout (the third is the entrance to the services station) and follow the bypass for half a mile. Approaching the next roundabout ,at the entrance to the racecourse, turn left towards York.
PENNYS are situated on the right hand side after 1/2 a mile.
From York
From the outer ring road of York, the A1237, take the B1224 to Wetherby.
Follow this road through Rufforth, Long Marston and Bilton In Ainsty. After a further mile there will be a petrol station on your right hand side. PENNYS is situated approx 1 1/2 after this petrol station on your left hand side.
If you come to a roundabout, the entrance to Wetherby Racecourse, you have gone 1/2 a mile too far.
From Harrogate
On approaching the outskirts of Wetherby, on the B6142, you need to bear left at the bottom of a small hill situated approx three quarters of a mile inside Wetherby.
Bear left here to follow this road to a mini roundabout. Turn left and then your first right near two petrol stations.
Follow this road, the B1224, over the A1 and eventually to a roundabout after 1 1/2 miles, the entrance to Wetherby racecourse.
At the roundabout travel straight on and PENNYS are situated on the right hand side after half a mile.
